More Information

This trip will be led by Martin Rickard, a very experienced sea kayak guide and coach, who has spent the last 10 summers exploring the east coast of Greenland. In 2007, Martin, Peter Jones and Phil Clegg, attempted a 700 mile unsupported expedition from Scoresbysund to Angmassalik. Through these expeditions and explorations, Martin has gained considerable knowledge of the local wildlife, the ice, the weather patterns and the people in the area. In 2008, Martin established a permanent sea kayak base in Angmassalik, with a great collection of NDK, Valley and Rockpool kayaks. Interested?
